Mr. Maurice Danby Copithorne

Maurice Danby Copithorne of Canada was appointed as the Special Representative of the Commission on Human Rights on the situation of human rights in the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1995. He served in this role until April of 2002, when the United Nations Commission on Human Rights voted to not renew the mandate.
